Meade Malone & Co., began in the British Virgin Islands in 1994 as a member of Coopers & Lybrand (International) under a co-operative arrangement among the then Coopers & Lybrand Eastern Caribbean, Abacus Channel Islands, and STG Coopers & Lybrand. The firm provided a complete range of audit, consulting, corporate and trust services to international and local clients.

In 1998, Coopers & Lybrand merged with Price Waterhouse to form  PricewaterhouseCoopers. As part of that merger, Meade Malone & Co., became a network firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

On July 1st, 2002, as part of the re-structuring taking place in the accounting industry in general, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, specifically, together with strategic changes at STG and Abacus Channel Islands, Meade Malone & Co., became an independent firm.

Following its separation from the Firms, Meade Malone & Co., has retained a close working relationship with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Abacus Channel Islands and STG while retaining its independence. That relationship has been cemented by the appointment of the former Chairman of Abacus Channel Islands, the former Managing Partner of Coopers & Lybrand, Eastern Caribbean and a former senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers as advisors and consultants  to the firm.

A new phase in our history has thus begun.
